How to read this. "Google-Verified Indexed" is the real coverage state from Google's URL-Inspection API across each sitemap's URLs — not a submission receipt. The AI-citation column is the honest one: "cited" = the percent of AI answers that actually cite the brand's own domain as a source (the metric that counts — it can't be faked by name-dropping). "named" = the percent that merely mention the brand by name (awareness only; shown dimmed on purpose). Measured across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity & Gemini on a fixed buyer-intent prompt set — this does not yet include Google's AI Overview (a separate surface we're adding). Low starting citation share is the point: it's the gap we close, measured in the open. Sites marked "indexing-only" are local/portfolio pages with no national buyer category to compete in.
